Role: Experienced Traffic Management Operative
Location: HQ Lochgelly, Fife
Coverage Area: Fife, Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Central Belt
Hours: 45–50 hours per week
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Traffic Management Operative to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in implementing and maintaining traffic management systems to ensure the safety of road users, pedestrians, and site workers. This is a hands-on role requiring flexibility, reliability, and a strong commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities:
· Set up, maintain, and remove traffic management systems, including road closures, diversions, and temporary traffic lights.
· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
· Work closely with site teams, local authorities, and clients to deliver effective traffic management solutions.
· Conduct risk assessments and ensure all equipment is safe and operational.
· Respond to emergency call-outs when required.
· Maintain accurate records and report any issues promptly.
About You
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced professional with the following skills and qualifications:
· Essential:
o Valid Lantra 12D including multiphase qualifications (or equivalent).
o Proven experience as a Traffic Management Operative and knowledge of Chapter 8
o Full UK driving licence (with no more than 6 points)
o Strong knowledge of traffic management regulations and safety standards.
o Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, and occasional overtime.
o Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
o Physically fit & able to work outdoors in all weather conditionss
